Student Drop Off & Pick Up Procedures 2024-25

2024-25 Student Drop Off/Pick Up Procedures - Printable PDF

Student building hours 7:45-2:45; instruction begins at 8:15          * All student drop-off and pick-up will occur via vehicle in the north parking lot. Exceptions are if you have a meeting with a teacher, school staff, appointment in the office, etc. If that is the case, your child may wait for you in the school.

Morning Drop-off Procedures

  • No drop off before 7:45 am. Supervision is not provided.

  • Pull into the student drop-off lane.

  • Please pull forward to allow other vehicles access and keep the line moving. Do not stop by the 4th/5th grade Door 9 or the 2nd/3rd grade Door 10.

  • Students may enter the main doors, Door 10 (2nd and 3rd grade hallway) or Door 9 (4th and 5th grade hallway)

  • Exit in the bypass lane.

Afternoon Pick-up Procedures

  • Pick-up begins at 2:50 pm.

  • Pull forward as far as you can in the student pick-up lane.

  • Please stay in your vehicle - staff will assist students in finding your vehicle

  • Exit the bypass lane

  • After leaving the parking lot, stay straight on 11th Avenue (heading east or turn left on Lark (heading north) - Please do not drive by buses.

Avoid

  • Do not park in the parking lot and cross traffic to find your child. Use the Pick-up and drop-off lane via vehicle only.

    • Pick-up by vehicle only.

  • Do not park on a city street and enter the pick-up area to find your child.

    • Pick-up by vehicle only.

Walkers

  • If parents are meeting walkers, please meet them at the crossing guard on the corner of 12th Avenue and Lark Street or the corner of 13th Avenue and Lark Street, across the street from the Lincoln Campus.

    • We want to avoid as much cross traffic with bussing as possible.

Compass Pick-up

  • Compass Drop-off and Pick-up will take place in the north parking lot. Students/parents enter Doors 9 or 10.

Visitor Parking

  • The east side (side closest to Lark St.) of the Lincoln parking lot will be designated for visitor parking. When you come to school to pick up your child, etc. please park there and walk to the main doors, buzz in, and enter the main office.
